No P V Narasimha Rao in 125 Congress History!

Hyderabad: Congress party has been contributing making of the India. We have many great leaders in Congress party. After India's Indipendence most of the time Congress party ruled the nation, and loyalties of Nehru - Gandhi family. After Rajiv Gandhi assasination Congress party in trouble, I dicribe India also in trouble. In 1991 genaral elections Congress won the majority of the Loksabha seats.In the Congress parlamentary party ( CPP) late Mr. Arjun singh paramosed P V Narasimha Rao as a leader of its CPP and late chief minister of Kerala K. Karunakaran supported to Mr. Arjun Singh's praposal. Then P V Narasimha Rao elected as Primister of India.

For the party leaders, between Sharad Pawar and Narasimha Rao the choice would inevitably have been the latter, in view of his lack of base within the party organisation, which they thought, could make him vulnerable to pressure. Pawar's overpowering personality, on the other hand, was not in tune with the Congress' ethos. It became clear to the Sharad Pawar camp that it enjoyed the support of not more than 10 per cent of the CPP members in the Lok Sabha and it decided to support Narasimha Rao.

Lack of majority in Loksabha LK Advani compared Narsimha Rao with Lal Bahudur Sastri,emphasising what he considered as their common traits, a non-Nehru family background and a clean image.Narasimha Rao complete his full term in office, opponents in party challening him, N D Tiwari, Arjun Singh quit party but , Narasimha Rao, by then, had matured as a modern Chanakya to keep intra-party dissidence within limits.

P V Narasimha Rao, made India as "Global India" with the support of then econamic minister Dr. Manmohan singh. He was reformer of Indian econamy. The reforms were adopted to avert impending internationaly.
The reforms progressed furthest in the areas of opening up to foreign investment,  reforming capital markets,    deregulating  domestic business, and reforming the trade regime. Rao's government's goals were reducing the  fiscal deficit privatization  of the public sector, and increasing investment in infrastructure. Trade reforms and changes in the regulation of foreign direct investment were introduced to open India to foreign trade while stabilizing external loans.

The loyalty of Nehru - Gandhi family perhaps Narsimha Rao's era was different. May be this is the reson Congress party made another departure even include a chapter  "The Congress and the making of the Indian nation" has Finance minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee as its chief editor. Realeased on the occastion of 125 years celebration.
